Account Closure

• Introduction of ability for clients to move customer accounts into Closed status.

• Addition of new account status: "Closed"

• Requests for account closure are validated against account balance and inflight payments
• Automated closure of associated scheduled payments and notifications
• Notifications provided as normal for status changes to Account, Card and Customer statuses (where appropriate)
• Customer status also updated to "Inactive" when all linked accounts are closed.
