We have introduced changes to step-up authentication flows for Apple Pay and Google Pay push provisioning. It is now optional to request a One Time Passcode (which was originally required to be sent to the customer's mobile phone number via SMS) as a step-up measure when completing this flow via our GraphQL (UI Portal) interface.
