| APPROVED | The state in which the account has been approved for opening but has yet to be activated through use. |
| ACTIVE | Active account with no restrictions. Once the client makes any transaction (deposit, withdrawal or transfer) on the account, it will become “Active”. |
| ACTIVE_IN_ARREARS | The account is active but is late on payments due. |
| DORMANT | The account has been inactive for a period of time deemed long enough to move into Dormant so that it can either be activated again or moved to closed. |
| BLOCKED / LOCKED | Active account has been Blocked by Hay as a result of a security alert. Hay will work with the customer to resolve or make the account Inactive if appropriate. The account cannot be accessed by the customer or used to make transactions/transfers in this state. |
